My first operetta directing experience was with "Candide," which Leonard Bernstein referred to as "my little operetta," for NeueOperWien. Following this, Michael Lakner, the artistic director of the Lehár Festival in Bad Ischl, invited me to stage "Ein Walzertraum" (Oscar Straus). This led to my appointment as Resident Director for the Lehár Festival, where I directed numerous operettas and musicals over several years, including:

• "Kaiserin Josephine" (Kálmán)

After my tenure at the Lehár Festival, I was appointed Resident Director for Bühne Baden (Austria) Here, I have directed numerous operettas, including:

• "Die Kaiserin" (Fall)

• "Die geschiedene Frau" (Fall)

• "Gräfin Mariza" (Fall)

• "Kaiserin Josephine" (Kálmán)

In 2020, I was invited to direct "Das Land des Lächelns" (Lehár) for the Seefestspiele Mörbisch, under the artistic direction of Peter Edelmann. Mörbisch is renowned as the largest operetta festival in the world.

Additionally, as part of the Daegu Festival in South Korea, I was invited to direct "Die lustige Witwe" (Lehár).

I recently directed the highly acclaimed production of 1000 Nights (Johann Strauss Jr.) at the Klaipeda State Music Theatre in Lithuania.
